To enrich the cultural and recreational lives of our employees, fully tap into their spirit of teamwork, and strengthen cohesion and team spirit among staff members, the company’s fifth employee basketball tournament was held on September 23, 2019, at the basketball court in the park’s cultural and sports center.
Guided by the sporting spirit of "friendship first, competition second, and participation above all else," the contestants enthusiastically threw themselves into the competition. As soon as the referee’s whistle blew, the entire court was filled with an atmosphere of intense tension, and the players’ passion was vividly displayed on the basketball court. Although off the court they were close and harmonious colleagues, on the court they were fiercely competitive, leaving no opportunity for scoring unseized. Throughout the game, they chased each other closely, giving their all in every play. Each player actively ran into position, providing cover for teammates, and there were frequent exquisite passes, beautiful team plays, and spectacular layups. There were also occasional unexpected falls during the game, yet none of this managed to dampen anyone’s spirits. Players simply patted each other on the shoulder, offered mutual encouragement, and then immediately got back into the game.
In this competition, the company’s chairman was among the first to join the competing team. His vigorous and energetic figure inspired the younger team members, and everyone eagerly strived to excel, fully demonstrating the spirit of competitive sports and savoring the charm it brings.
In this employee basketball tournament, the company, aiming to encourage more employees to participate in physical exercise and adhering to the principle of universal involvement, has organized individual competitions—three-point shooting contests and two-point stationary shooting contests. Everyone is highly enthusiastic and has eagerly signed up to take part, sweating profusely as they compete on the basketball court. The athletes are brimming with confidence and have demonstrated superb shooting skills.
Encouraged by the expectant gazes and friendly cheers of everyone, the competition was intense, thrilling, and captivating. Leaders and colleagues off the field watched with great interest, cheering on and applauding their colleagues who were competing, seamlessly blending into the vibrant atmosphere inside the venue. After fierce competition, the joint team from the company’s administrative departments took first place, the Research Institute came in second, and the West Zone production joint team placed third. This competition fully demonstrated the competitive spirit of Zhongxin employees—their dedication to giving their all on the playing field, showcasing their talents, and striving relentlessly for first place as a true team spirit.
This basketball tournament not only enriched the employees’ leisure and cultural lives but also embodied the company’s corporate spirit—promoting the holistic development of employees. At the same time, it deepened the implementation of the company’s culture, fostered friendship among employees, cultivated a spirit of unity and collaboration, and, through basketball’s unique appeal, showcased the vibrant and energetic youthful spirit of Zhongxin employees.
