General Manager's Work Report
At the outset of the conference, General Manager Mr. Wang Chao summarized the company’s work for 2023: In 2023, the global economic environment was complex and turbulent. Under the challenging economic conditions—marked by a downturn in both domestic and international economies, sluggish industry development, and a shift in product structure—the company experienced a significant decline in both revenue and net profit, facing what can be described as its “darkest moment” since going public. Faced with this crisis, the company’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee carefully assessed the situation, made decisive decisions, and led the entire company—from top to bottom—to overcome difficulties and forge ahead with determination. They worked tirelessly to improve the company’s performance and minimize its losses, remaining patient and persistent, confident that sustained effort would eventually yield remarkable results.
At the meeting, the General Manager laid out plans for better achieving the 2024 annual targets. At the same time, 2024 is a pivotal year for the company as it bridges the past and looks forward to the future under the implementation of the “Three-Year Strategic Development Plan Outline (2023-2025).” Standing at this new starting point, we must not only firmly seize a series of opportunities—such as the recovery of the macro economy, continued market growth, and the ramp-up of production from new projects—but also bravely confront the various difficulties and challenges ahead. We should fully leverage our resource advantages, actively grasp development opportunities both domestically and internationally, accelerate the construction of an industrial base for fluorine-containing new energy sources and next-generation environmentally friendly refrigerants, and work together to move closer to our strategic planning goals.
