The Zhongxin Fluoromaterials Sports Meet Opens with Great Fanfare.
The 6th Employee Sports Meet of Zhongxin Fluoromaterials kicked off on August 29. Starting from August 26, preliminary rounds for badminton and basketball matches were held one after another, identifying a group of outstanding teams and athletes. Today, the long-awaited finals have arrived, filling everyone with both tension and excitement. Although a light rain was falling gently, it did not dampen anyone’s enthusiasm or determination to give their best. With all athletes from the six competing teams now assembled, the finals officially began.
Men's and Women's Badminton
The men’s and women’s singles badminton matches officially kicked off at the company’s badminton hall, marking the full-scale showdown of strength and speed. With powerful “high-altitude serves,” fierce smash attacks, and ingenious “moon-catching” maneuvers, the athletes swung their rackets with relentless force time after time, sending the shuttlecocks soaring through the air like arrows released from a bow—full of momentum and utterly unstoppable.
Tug-of-War Team Competition
As the whistle blew to start the tug-of-war competition, the participating team members gripped the long rope tightly, mustering all their strength. Both sides locked in a fierce standoff, pulling with all their might! Company leaders were also cheering on the teams from right beside them! After the match ended, employees spontaneously formed a cheerleading squad to shout encouragement and support for the competitors. The cheers rose and fell one after another, and the intense atmosphere of the competition pushed the entire event to a thrilling climax! Congratulations to the East Factory Workshop Team for winning the tug-of-war championship through sheer skill and determination!
Women's Rope Skipping Final
The women’s jump-rope competition is a true test of speed—requiring not only steadiness but also swiftness. Striving for speed within stability is the standard expected of every jump-rope athlete. This workers’ sports event has shown us that as long as we embrace a passion for sports and maintain an optimistic mindset, even the simplest everyday objects can become our tools for physical fitness and sources of joy!
Slow cycling
On the short 15-meter track, the cyclists each demonstrated their unique riding skills, as if crossing the sea in eight different ways. They kept their eyes firmly fixed on the front wheel of their bikes, keeping their upper bodies as still as possible, and pedaling slowly and evenly with steady force, gently guiding their bikes toward the finish line. Some riders, however, hadn't yet adjusted to the slow pace after getting on their bikes and lost control of their strength, causing their wheels to speed past the finish line too quickly. Yet despite these setbacks, the cyclists remained undaunted, continuously learning from one another, exchanging tips, and discussing how they could maintain balance and reach the finish line at the slowest possible pace. They always threw themselves into the activity with great enthusiasm, showcasing a whole new dimension of charm and appeal in cycling.
Long Rope Jumping Finals
The group jump rope event requires seamless coordination among its 10 members to complete the jumping task. Two team members are responsible for swinging the rope, while the other eight members perform the jumps. Within two minutes, the team with the highest number of jumps will be ranked first, followed by the second and third-place teams. Although jumping the large rope may seem simple, it actually puts athletes’ teamwork, coordination, and physical endurance to the test. To achieve a good result, jumpers must leap high, maintain a consistent rhythm, and keep up their stamina. A small jump rope connects unity and friendship; it conveys strength and the spirit of relentless effort. We’d like to congratulate the Administrative Department Team, which won the championship of the large rope team competition with a total score of 142!
Men's Basketball Team Competition
Every spin pass, every three-step layup, and every precise shot elicited waves of cheers and applause from the spectators in the arena. Basketball is a leaping sprite, darting back and forth across the court and tracing beautiful arcs in the air. The score remained fiercely competitive, keeping the audience’s emotions constantly on edge! The company’s chairman also joined the basketball team, adding a vibrant highlight to this year’s employee sports meet. In the end, the joint team from the administrative departments defeated the Research Institute’s combined team by a score of 79 to 53, clinching the championship in this year’s team basketball competition. We’d also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Research Institute’s team for securing the runner-up position.
Closing Ceremony of the Sports Meet
At 3 p.m., as the basketball game came to an end, the sports meet was also drawing to a close. The final event of the sports meet—the ceremony honoring achievements and reaping rewards—was about to begin with great fanfare. We’ve invited Mr. Chen Yinhao, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee and Chairman of the Board, to present awards to our outstanding athletes. Let’s extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners—both individual athletes and teams—and offer our sincere gratitude to every athlete who took part in the competition.
