On February 1, after receiving notification from the company, Hou Xue immediately returned to work and threw herself into the epidemic prevention and control efforts. Faced with heavy tasks, complex and tedious work, and tight deadlines, she gave up her rest time, braved hardships, worked overtime every day, and remained constantly on call—often not returning home until late at night. She tackled challenges head-on and devoted herself wholeheartedly to the frontline of epidemic prevention and control. She set up a WeChat group for epidemic reporting and contact, took temperature readings, kept track of employees’ return-to-work status at all times, promptly released epidemic-related information, closely monitored the daily temperature checks of those in quarantine upon their return to the factory, and meticulously recorded and reported the data. In her work, she ensured there were no gaps and no blind spots.
Due to the pandemic, the company delayed its resumption of work. Hou Xue actively participated in the preparations for the company’s resumption of production and operations. She was responsible for conducting a comprehensive survey of employee information, asking about their residential history, travel history, and return-to-work dates; promptly reporting the whitelist; issuing passes; and ensuring that all tasks were carried out in an orderly manner, thereby guaranteeing the effective implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures. With the most rigorous work ethic, a strong sense of responsibility, and the most robust measures, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to epidemic prevention and control, ensuring that employees returned to the factory and resumed work on time and that the company could resume production and operations promptly.
